<p>Cafe Vostro is Grover Beach&#8217;s best kept secret.&nbsp; You have probably driven by it on the way to the beach.&nbsp; It is located at 228 W Grand Ave just past 4th street and one block up from Highway 1.&nbsp; Just had their cocunut shrimp and a side salad with chipotle ranch dressing.&nbsp; It was fantastic!&nbsp; Ken makes all if his food fresh everyday, no precooking.&nbsp; Cafe Vostro serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.&nbsp; You have to try it!</p>

I was starting to think we&#8217;d never have a glimpse of a &#8220;real&#8221; winter again. The waves are huge and churning with debris and bits of ocean floor. Grover and Oceano Beaches are closed to vehicles. I&#8217;m sure many are disappointed, but safety first. Anyway, here&#8217;s a video of a vigorous Shell Beach just under Margo Dodd Park taken on the 19th.</p>
